Religious, Social and Pilgrimage Assistance from ABASS

Throughout the year we receive considerable amount of correspondence from viewers located in India and around the world.

Most of the requests are for accommodation/poojas at Sabarimala or are queries relating to Sabarimala pilgrimage, rituals, vrutham etc.

Side by side, we also receive many queries from non-hindu foreigners from all parts of the world. Many are curious about `Hinduism and Hindu Philosophy' and want more information. Some have already visited India in previous years, have fond memories of their visit and want to refresh their knowledge or re-establish links. Some have queries relating to our many Gods, religious icons, deities and want more explanation. Some correspondence is also received from University students who are studying `Hinduism or Eastern Philosophy' as a part of their School/University curriculum . Many want to get in touch with learned authorities in India or want to trace out study/research material on Hinduism. Some requests have even been received for conducting `Arya Samaj' type marriages with Hindu partners or for enquiring on the methodology of converting to Hinduism.

We welcome your mail. The mail that we receive is forwarded by the Web Master to relevant authorities for appropriate responses. Though we try to be prompt with our responses, inevitably there is some delay in answering certain queries as appropriate authorities are located in different parts of the State of Kerala or India and we have to await their responses.
